Our direct to board prints are produced from a Vutek QS series super-wide format printing machine. Direct to board prints are printed using a UV curing ink which is applied to the board from high definition 1080dpi resolution print-heads before being cured onto the board using powerful UV light. Because we print directly onto the board rather than printing onto paper or vinyl (which is then mounted-down onto the board), the panels are very durable and not prone to edge peeling or lifting as is the case with exhibition boards done 'the old fashioned way'! As well as providing a very high quality, durable print. UV printing technology also provides a more environmentally-friendly printing process than is the case with solvent based inks from other suppliers. In fact our UV ink uses no VOC's which are harmful to the environment and the staff who have to work with them. The range of material that we can UV print onto is vast. Common materials include Foamex PVC, Corex fluted board and display card. We can also source other materials on-demand, simply call to discuss your requirements. Another interesting feature of our UV printing machine is the ability to print white ink as well as the normal gamut of colours. White ink UV printing creates the opportunity to do new and interesting things with your display graphics. White ink can be pre-printed onto transparent materials to create a base-layer for the other colours allowing us to print onto almost any colour board, not just white.
