Versatile Exhibition Stands for Every Type of Space

Organisations which send sales teams to a number of different events and exhibitions throughout the year are often forced to think on their feet with regards to the size and shape of the space they are given. Those who purchase ‘shell’ spots at exhibitions are less concerned with fitting their exhibition stands into the space as the exact dimensions are laid out for them as part of their shell package. However, those who choose to use space only areas at exhibitions can often find themselves with a number of issues regarding spacing, the visibility of the stands and how attention-grabbing their display is. Getting to an exhibition to discover that the dimensions of the exhibition space, or the way the space faces, can be disastrous for those who are unprepared. It is important, for those who purchase space only pitches at exhibitions, to have a number of versatile and flexible banner stands in order for them to contend with any space restrictions they might face.

One of the easiest ways to overcome any constraints on visibility or exhibition space is to invest in a series of double-sided banner stands. These stands have high-quality graphics printed on both sides, so that in the event of ending up with a poor exhibition space, there is still as much chance as possible of the graphics catching a visitor’s eye. Thehigh-quality double-sided banner stands rely on two roller mechanisms which are mounted back to back within the base mechanism. Rather than having one piece of material with graphics on either side, the graphics are supplied on two banners which can be pulled up separately and hooked over the central support pole. Having a double-sided exhibition stand like this also conceals the central support pole when the stand is fully assembled, and offers a more streamlined and professional image of the brand. These stands are versatile and flexible, and their portable nature means they can be placed at a number of vantage points to maximise their visibility when contending with sub-par exhibition space.

Another great way to deal with the unpredictability of having a different exhibition space every time is to purchase a linking banner stand system, which can be flexibly built in different shapes and sizes. Adjustable banner stands kitsallow those putting together the display to have much more freedom in creating a display that will draw in the crowds and look professional.  Combining these adjustable stands with Flexilink kits and curved stands means that whatever the dimensions or position of the exhibition space, exhibitors can adapt their display to each venue and each pitch, and their display will appear natural and well-designed.

Printdesigns proud of positive customer reviews on Google Plus

Here at Printdesigns, we always work very hard to provide our customers with competitively priced display stands, backed-up with good customer service and support when needed. We welcome feedback from all of our customers whether it is good or bad because we believe that such feedback allows us to continuously improve.

Regarding customer reviews, we noticed that several companies who also provide a range of products such as banner stands and pop up stands sometimes publish feedbacks on their websites from ‘independent’ review sites. I’m always slightly sceptical about such review sites in that it is not always obvious if such published reviews are completely authentic.

Today, whilst browsing the internet I discovered one large format print and display website which published reviews from several ‘happy customers’ on a range of products including banner stands and PVC Banners. The company concerned featured reviews linked from the website yotpo.com which claims to host independent customer reviews.

Three of the total published reviews on the printing companies website were from a reviewer with the same name as the sales and marketing director of the business. A strange coincidence or perhaps the sales and marketing manager published the reviews himself?

The point of highlighting the above is to point-out that just because a company has reviews published on a website, it is not proof that the reviews are legitimate. Using a third-party review site might instil some confidence in the buyer that positive reviews are real but in the case above that confidence would seem to be mis-placed.

We publish reviews on our own website and also have some glowing reviews from customers on our Google Plus page (see link below) all of which are authentic. We can also provide transcripts of feedbacks we received by email from previous happy customers.

All the reviews we have from Google plus are legitimate and from customers we have proudly produced work for in the past. If you have any comments or feedback about Printdesigns then why not get in touch by sending an email or leave a comment here on our blog.

Staff Training For Successful Exhibitions and Events

The sales targets have been set, the banner stand design has been finalised and the exhibition or trade fair is just around the corner. One of the most important things to do before attending any sort of promotional event like this is to ensure that all of the sales and marketing staff who will be attending the event are completely sure of the brief and their role in the team. Employees who are uninformed about certain offers or discounts will look foolish and unprofessional if confronted with a knowledgeable visitor, whilst training them in the correct way to assemble their exhibition display will also save them time and effort at the beginning and the end of the event. Here are five top tips to ensuring all staff are ready to project the very best company image when representing a business at an exhibition.

  1. Briefs

Be sure to hold intensive briefing sessions with staff so they understand their role, their objectives for the day, and any other important information regarding a specific event. They should be familiar with the products or services they are selling, and have an in-depth knowledge of how they function. Prospective clients with good knowledge of similar products can ask difficult questions as they endeavour to find out which products will give them the best value, therefore it is crucial that employees feel confident answering these questions.

  1. Body Language

Staff at any exhibition should appear relaxed and approachable, without appearing intimidating or overly confident. It is a fine line to tread, but keeping employees smiling and looking friendly helps to give great first impressions, and visitors are more likely to stop for a discussion about a product or service if they feel the staff there are only too happy to help. Many organisations train their staff to accost visitors as they walk past and give them an offer that they can’t refuse, but the vast majority of exhibition visitors will not appreciate this; they might have experienced it five times just walking into the exhibition and many will be more taken with a team who are relaxed and ready to help, rather than aggressively selling or pitching.

  1. Motivation

Working on an exhibition stand for an event, whether it is one day only or whether it’s a week-long extravaganza, can be tiring and stressful at the best of times. It is important to keep staff motivated throughout the duration of the show to ensure that they are at their best. Providing incentives is a great way to do this; a prize for the most deals at the end of the week, or perhaps a bonus for the person who gets the most follow-ups. Having a senior member of staff on the stand will also raise their game significantly; having top level management around encourages sales teams to impress and work hard, so even asking a director or senior manager to have a stroll around the trade fair can have a galvanizing effect on the sales team.

Vutek GS Printer for Even Better Quality Banner Stands & Displays

Printdesigns have always been at the forefront of digital printing technology. The continual investment into the latest equipment has allowed us to offer the very best quality products at prices our competitors simply cannot match.

We installed our first Vutek printer around 5 years ago and at the time it revolutionised the way we produced low cost budget banner stands when compared to the old ink jet method of printing. Vutek uv printing was faster, more durable and cheaper so our products became even more afordable.

Following our first PressVu machine, we installed a Vutek QS machine around two and a half years ago with double the speed and better quality. The machine has proved a valuable asset but on Friday of this week it will be replaced with the latest GS version.

The GS is once again faster whilst the smaller droplet size provided by the printer means better quality still. We are currently working to produce all orders super fast as the new machine install will involve a day or two down time for our production team.

If you have any rush requirements for banner stands then we recommend placing orders prior to Friday if they are required for same day production.

If you require any printed samples or information on our new printer then why not give us a call and we can advise how our investment can help your business when it comes to displaying at your next exhibition or event.
