Hi Robbie,

Thanks for your enquiry. We can make replacement graphics for almost any type of banner stand.

The Premier Wing is a stand I have not come across for a long time but I know these stands are good, robust units and so it would definitely be worthwhile re-printing it if the stand itself is in good working order.

We have two main materials that we use for printing roller banner graphics onto. One is a PVC based material and one is a polyester based material. The PVC material can be printed using a UV or Latex print process which is waterfast without lamination whereas the polyester based film is a photo-coated material that will require a lamination for it to be durable.

The cost for using the PVC is £40 and the cost for the polyester with laminated finish is £60. The prices are ex vat and delivery which is £15 plus vat to any mainland UK address.

We make no charge for the removal of your old graphic so you can just return the entire cassette if you wish.

I hope this helps and please just let us know if we can help further.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am wondering if you could provide me with a rough price please that your company would charge to "reskin" a roller banner?

The model of banner we have is a Premier Display Wing. I beleive the banner is around 850mm wide and 1.8m high but would check this prior to ordering as I am only drawing up a budget for the next financial year at this stage.

We could remove the banner from its base and send in only what is necessary.

kind regards

Hi,

Thanks for your comment! I understand that they have gone into liquidation now. I saw some comments from some upset customers who bought products from them via a Groupon offer but never received the goods :-(

I hope that the customers concerned can get refunds on the products that they paid for and never received.

It makes you wonder why only a Month before they went bust why they were advertising and taking money from people for products they were not going to deliver.

I recall producing an order for a sign company based locally in Stafford many years ago ( we'll call them Signs 1999 for legal reasons!). It was an order for some printed panels that we delivered to a local ASDA store to promote a Christmas pantomime.

A day or two after we delivered the panels, I got a letter to say the company had gone bust. We never got paid for the work and quite obviously the company who ordered the panels would have known what was happening when they ordered them.

It's criminal that these companies can operate like this.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your comments!

In the last few years, the prices of banner stands have dropped significantly and now they have become a commodity item that even small businesses can afford.

Providing you choose the right supplier there is no reason why you cannot get a fit for purpose banner stand unit for around £40 ex vat.

I have seen the actual stands from the other company and they are no more robust than our budget banner stands. I suspect the country of origin for the base units is China like most other roller banner units that are available in the market.

All the best
Mark

Mark

I couldn't agree more!

The site in question is spouting utter nonsense, I noticed it a couple of weeks ago, and I can only hope that those that read your blog realise that they are been completely ripped off by this supplier. There is no reason whatsoever why a banner stand cannot be produced properly for less than £40.00

Aircraft grade Aluminum!!!!, No wonder they charge so much for them. I am surprised that this supplier doesn't have the Advertising Standards Authority on their backs, let alone its competitors.
