By keeping a close watch on our competitors and continually negotiating with our suppliers to achieve the best prices on buying-in quality display hardware and materials we were consistently cheaper than any other supplier in 2009.

On the first day of trading in the new year 2010, we checked costs from all Google sponsored listings on the most popular type of portable exhibition pop up stand that we supply, the 3×3 pop up display.

We found that our advertised cost of £499 plus vat for our 3×3 Express pop up display which includes the framework and graphics was by far the lowest advertised price. Our standard wheeled transit case brings the total cost of the stand including case to only £574 plus vat.

Amongst the most expensive suppliers were Pod Exhibition systems offering an equivalent display with wheeled case for £899.50, that’s £325.50 more expensive than our own advertised price! Pop Up Direct came in at £699 plus vat for a standard 3×3 pop up display which does not feature magnetic graphic hangers like our own system, that’s £175 plus vat more expensive for a lower specification display!

We were quite surprised at the big differential in price between suppliers of pop up stands considering that the products on offer were all very similar. Given the substantial differences in costs and our commitment to offering the highest quality products at the best prices, we feel confident of a good year in 2010 as many companies ‘shop around’ to find the best prices on exhibition stands and banner stands rather than simply sticking with pre-existing suppliers.
