A dual OS allows you to experience one of the most versatile touch screen displays available today. The Dual OS with both Windows and Android operating systems is pre-installed on the integrated PC (Windows software license available separately). Switching between the two operating systems is simple so you can run applications or software from both platforms.
Infrared touch screens use the most robust and durable touch technology available. Designed for commercial use, infrared touch technology works by embedding LED lights and sensors into the bezel of the screen above the glass. The LED's beam a signal across to the corresponding sensor on the other side thus creating an invisible grid. When the grid is broken by a finger or other solid object the sensors can detect the touch point. Infrared touch screens are by far the most cost effective touch screen solution on the market.
Up to 10 touch points can be selected simultaneuously. This allows for functionality such as manipulating images, zooming in/out as well as performing many other touch-screen gestures much as you would on a domestic tablet device. Multiple touch points also allow more than one user to interact with the screen at any one time.
The Infrared Freestanding Multi Touch Poster is available with a choice of stylish, modern black or white enclosures. The enclosures feature tempered glass screens with a slim design. The base of the enclosure has wheels so to allow easy movement of the screen.
The IPS panel used in this display provides an ultra wide 178° viewing angle with no fall-off on colour or diversion in contrast ratio. The display is designed for use in even challenging and brightly lit indoor environments.
LED backlight technology provides enhanced brightness and contrast whilst reducing power consumption by around 30% and increasing the longevity of the panel. The panel is also mercury-free thus enhancing the environmental crudentials further.
Built with commercial grade components, the display is designed for constant 24/7 use. The lifespan of the panel is around 70,000 hours which equates to around 8 Years of continuous use.
The Infrared Freestanding Multi Touch Screen has two internal operating systems (Android and Windows) but also has multiple inputs in order to allow connection of external devices. VGA and HDMI inputs are available for video whilst a USB input allows for connection of an input device such as a keyboard or mouse. By connecting an external computer, you can use the screen as a computer monitor by using your finger to control the pointer on the screen in place of a mouse. The enclosure has a lockable cabinet at the rear that is large enough to accomodate a compact PC or media player.
You can use the screen as a touch sensitive monitor if you connect it to your own PC or you can create your own content and run it directly from the in-built computer with Android and Windows. To make the creation of touch-screen content as simple as possible, you can subscribe to our Touch CMS system that allows you to create engaging, touch-screen content with no knowledge of coding required. The completed content can then be deployed to the screen in seconds via Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. A subscription to our Touch CMS system is required.
Content can be uploaded to the device via USB or via our cloud Touch CMS System. This allows you to upload and update content anytime you like, without the need to manually access the screen. For those customers with several devices in multiple locations you can rapidly and simultaneously roll-out content quickly and easily. If you would like to take advantage of our touch screen CMS system this is a subscription based product. You can choose a 1 Year, 3 year or Lifetime subscription to the system.
