Eco Stick is an ultra-clear transparent polyester film with a silicone suction layer. It can cling to glass or any other smooth surface and will not leave any adhesive residue behind. Eco Stick is ideal for window advertising as it is far easier to handle and install than traditional self-adhesive films. It's also PVC-free and recylable too. Eco Stick window film can be supplied as standard posters or as custom size window decals that can be cut to almost any shape.
Optically Clear Window Film
Eco Stick is a 115-micron thick, super clear PET (polyester) window film that features a repositionable/removable silicone adhesive to the face.
Being polyester-based, this material feels rather like acetate film. It is far easier to handle and install to windows than regular cling or self-adhesive PVC film which tends to be very pliable and floppy!
Applying Eco Stick film to a window is easy:
Simply peel off the transparent film from the front, offer up to the glass and smooth it down with a flat object (ideally a squeegee).
You can remove and re-position the sticker again and again without leaving any mess or glue residue.
The best application results are achieved if the mounting surface is dampened with water using s spray bottle as this helps to allow any trapped air bubbles to be released with the material is smoothed down.
The Application Process
For best results we recommend wetting the application surface with water from a spray bottle
1. Peel off the removable film and apply it to the glass
2. Smooth the film down. You can reposition if required
Printing Standard Self Cling Window Posters
Eco stick window film can be printed at up to 1300mm wide x any length and we can also contour cut it to any custom shape on request.
Eco Stickself-cling window posters are produced as standard by printing the artwork design in mirror-image and then printing a solid layer of white ink over the top. This is called 'Flood White Ink Printing'.
When the sticker is applied to the inside of the window and viewed from the outside, the design appears the correct way around. The white ink behind the artwork makes the finished decal look like a regular standard poster.
Unless you specify otherwise, this is how your Eco Stick Film Prints will be produced.

Further White Ink Printing Options
Flood White Ink Printing (standard)
Flood white ink printing is described above and is used as standard.
Flood white ink overprinting involves outputting a flood layer of white ink over the entire background of the window film after the colour is printed.
When viewed from the front, the print looks like a regular poster printed onto white paper. No elements of the film will be transparent except a small 5mm border around the edge.
The small 5mm clear border helps to prevent any ink cracking when the backing material is peeled off for application.
Selective White Ink Overprinting
With selective white ink overprinting, white ink is only printed over the top of specific areas of artwork (usually the colour information). This means that the background to your artwork is transparent.

No White Ink Printing
If no white ink is printed on any area of the colour artwork then the colour will appear somewhat translucent from the front, viewable side of the glass.
This semi-transparent effect is preferred by some clients who do not wish to completely block the view through the window or limit light transmission when installing larger window graphics.
