Digitally printed foamex boards are available in a choice of standard A4, A3, A2, A1, A0 or custom sizes. We offer foamex board printing in a choice of 3mm, 5mm or 10mm material thicknesses as well as options for single/double-sided printing, lamination and even contour cutting of the panel to a specific shape. We use premium Foamalite Xpress board that features a smooth and uniform printing surface, making it the material of choice for outstanding printing results
	Fast Eco-Friendly UV Printing Our foamex boards are printed using a UV digital printing process. The UV printing process provides a printed finish that is durable, resistant to fading and waterproof. Foamex can be printed at any size up to a maximum of 3M x 2M.



What Is Foamex? Foamex is a PVC-based sheet material that is made by compressing a PVC foam to create a strong, semi-rigid board. Foamex is very lightweight and cost-effective, making it ideal for producing advertising boards, exhibition graphics and signs. Printed foamex boards can be used indoors or outdoors as the material and ink are waterproof and resistant to fading. Foamex boards can be fastened in a variety of ways, using screws, double-sided velcro or self-adhesive pads.

	Foamex Board Thicknesses Foamex board is available in a wide range of material thicknesses ranging from 1mm up to 20mm. We offer 3mm, 5mm and 10mm thicknesses 'off the shelf' but can supply other sheet thicknesses on request. 3mm Foamex is ideal for smaller indoor display panels around 1M x 1M or smaller. For larger panels, 5mm foamex is stiffer and more durable for handling. 10mm foamex is very rigid and ideal if you want to support a panel from a base (a free-standing panel). 5mm or 10mm Foamex is the recommended thickness for exterior use as it is stronger.

Quality Guaranteed With a resolution of up to 1080 dpi, we provide photo-quality results. Whether you are using your foamex boards for in-store advertising, events and exhibitions or as display in your home or office, you can be assured that each foamex board we produce will be of the highest quality. Foamex boards can be printed from any original artwork file and for those customers with special colour-matching needs, we can provide support by matching colours as closely as possible.

	Foamex Board Contour Cutting Foamex boards are printed from large sheets and then cut down to size using one of our Zund digital cutting machines. 3mm and 5mm thick foamex boards are cut with a tungsten knife tool whereas thicker 10mm material is cut using a router. Printed foamex boards can be cut in a variety of ways depending on your needs and preferences. We offer simple, square-cut edges or rounded corner cutting at no additional cost. If you want your panels to be bespoke cut to a specific shape, that's no problem. Simply provide your artwork with an outline showing the cutting path and we will take care of the rest.

Optional Laminated Finishes For Foamex

Foamex board has a non-reflective, matt finish and is ideal for general display use. The UV-cured ink we print with has a very small amount of lustre and would still be described as a matt finish.

We can over-laminate the surface of the print with a choice of 4 finishes of film that can offer a special finish on request. Gloss lamination provides high vibrancy and impact whereas matt lamination provides an extremely flat non-glare finish. Scratch-resistant lamination has a slight crystal texture that adds additional protection from marks and damage. For panels that are being transported to and from events, for example, it can help to prevent accidental damage to the printed surface while handling and transporting your panels.

A specific dry wipe lamination film is available that is designed for use with markerboard pens. Dry-wipe lamination is glossy like our standard glossy laminating film but contains additives that enable markerboard pens to be removed without ghosting.

Delivery of printed panels We can deliver panels up to around 1M x 1.5M in size via regular overnight courier services. Larger panels or awkward-sized panels may be too large or fragile to deliver in this way. If you require larger panels, please contact us prior to placing your order and we can verify that we can deliver within our standard charges. If it is not possible, we can provide a quotation based on a dedicated vehicle to the delivery address. You may also collect your order in person or via your own courier.
