Xanita Board Printing

Xanita is an engineered cardboard material made from two layers of white-faced card with a corrugated centre. Incredibly strong and versatile, Xanita board can be used for the production of simple wall panels and display graphics but can also be cut and folded to create a wide range of innovative display products. Xanita board is 100% recyclable and is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional plastic-based display materials.

	Recyclable & Eco Friendly Xanita board is made from cardboard fibres that are recovered from used cardboard boxes. Being made from cardboard, Xanita boards are 100% recyclable and can be disposed of at the end of life along with other paper and card materials. We print Xanita board material using a UV digital process and our inks contain no solvents (VOCs) that can be environmentally damaging.



Strong Corrugated Core Xanita board material differs substantially from many comparable fibre boards that typically use an open cell (honeycomb) core. The internal structure of the Xanita board is far denser and made from a tight woven corrugation. This allows the Xanita board to be V-Cut cleanly from the reverse without tearing. The ability to V Cut Xanita board means that it can be used to create a huge array of display products as well as simple printed boards.

	Xanita Board Thicknesses printed Xanita boards are available in a choice of thickness options: 10mm - Ideal for flat wall panels or free-standing boards 16mm - Ideal for very large free-standing panels and structural/load-bearing products made from Xanita board Our team are happy to help advise you on the best thickness of material for your particular project.

Quality Printing Guaranteed Xanita boards are printed with a UV digital process. Liquid ink is applied to the material which is then immediately cured using UV light from LED lamps. The resultant printed image is very durable being resistant to moisture and scratching. As we use a digital printing process, we can print any quantity of boards from a one-off to a large run. Artwork can be supplied in most commonly supported formats and a member of our team will manually check your file to ensure it is sized correctly for the display boards that you require. 	Bespoke Cutting And Fabrication Conventional Xanita display boards can be trimmed with right-angled or radius corners at no additional cost. Bespoke contour cutting of panels to any shape is also available as an option. As well as contour cutting, we offer specialist scoring, v-cutting and channelling of Xanita board to create a huge variety of different types of products. From freestanding POS displays to load-bearing printed cardboard furniture! We can cut from any prepared artwork file and our team can assist by offering helpful advice so you to set your artwork up for printing. We also offer a design service and can come up with designs for products based on your instructions and brief.

Optional Edge Finishing Xanita boards have a raw cardboard edge but can be finished with a profile on request. Two types of edge profiles are available and both are available in a choice of black or white colours. We have a paper, self-adhesive profile that covers the raw edge and is perfect for things like hanging signage or other temporary display boards. The alternative profile is made from flexible PVC material and has a c-shaped profile that completely encapsulates the raw edge of the board. This can be hot glued to the edge of the board and is better suited for more permanent point-of-sale displays or other products that can be manufactured from the Xanita board. Optional Laminated Finishes For Xanita Boards

We can offer optional laminated finishes that can add durability or a special finish to printed Xanita board material. This can be beneficial for products such as display panels that need to be transported and re-used multiple times whereby the risk of damage due to scratching is increased. Adding a laminated finish to the material introduces a plastic element to the surface of the board. This can be peeled away however at the end of life so the bulk of the panel can still be recycled as normal.

Matt and gloss lamination are available as well as a textured, crystal finish that offers the greatest possible scratch resistance.

A specific 'dry-wipe' gloss lamination is also possible that is designed for use with markerboard pens. This finish allows you to write onto the surface of your panel and wipe away the markerboard pen afterwards without leaving residue or ghosting.

Delivery of printed panels We can deliver panels up to around 1M x 1.5M in size via regular overnight courier services. Larger panels or awkward-sized panels may be too large or fragile to deliver in this way. If you require larger panels, please contact us prior to placing your order and we can verify that we can deliver within our standard charges. If it is not possible, we can provide a quotation based on a dedicated vehicle to the delivery address. You may also collect your order in person or via your own courier.
