Android Cloud Media Player (with CMS Software)

The Android Cloud Media Player connects to any standard computer screen or TV and provides powerful functionality enabling you to utilise your existing device as a digital signage display. Content can be uploaded to the media player via USB or with a network connection. Using our content management system (CMS) which is subscription-based, you can update the content being played on your screen and control functions remotely from any location.

Our latest PPCNET-D version of this player features several improvements over the previous versions including more RAM capacity, faster connectivity and improved graphics processing speed.

Android Media Player

The network cloud media player utilises the proven Android 7.1 operating system to run our powerful media player software. It is capable of playing the most common video and image file formats, the media player features built-in storage and can stream engaging visual content to your existing display screen. You can also run your own software on the media player if you wish.

Update From Anywhere

Our media player is network-enabled out of the box and ready to use with our own content management system mysignageportal.com. This subscription-based system allows you to log in from anywhere, upload your images and videos to our secure server and then deploy your content directly to your screen. You can buy multiple media players and control them all from one central account. There is no need to install special software, have a dedicated PC, or have a dedicated server. This is a subscription-based service with a choice of 1-year, 3-year or lifetime options.

   Powerful Cloud-Based Solution

Access to our cloud-based CMS system gives you the capability to stream a huge range of content to your screen. As well as displaying images and video you can display a live website, add a live RSS feed or add scrolling text. It's all possible without any special software or programming knowledge. This is a subscription-based service with a choice of 1-year, 3-year or lifetime options.

The innovative heat sink fin design efficiently dissipates heat, ensuring the media player stays within its optimal temperature range. Not only does this make it suitable for continuous 24/7 use by preventing overheating, but it also vastly improves overall performance.

This powerful media player utilises ARM’s state-of-the-art Midgard GPU architecture to offer significantly higher performance than previous chips. They also support the latest graphics APIs for smooth and impressive visuals, along with wide support for the latest feature sets.

Management Features

Records are kept from all screen and user activity so that you can monitor the usage and effectiveness of your content. You may wish to limit some functions or zones to specific users. For example, you may wish to allow a receptionist to have access to the screen in the reception area but nothing else – our system allows full user rights control.

Control Screen Functions

You can control most of your screen’s functions via the CMS, such as playing and stopping content as well as volume control and scheduling On/Off times; a truly centralised solution.

Schedule Playlists

Decide exactly what content is displayed and when. Create playlists that will automatically display your desired content at pre-determined times and dates. Whatever your scheduling requirements, our system can support them.

  Supported Files and Formats

Our network solution supports a wider range of files and formats than the standalone version. From standard file formats such as images (JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG), video (MPG, AVI, MP4, RM, RMVB, TS) and audio (MP3, WMA) you can now display Office Document files. Your Word, Excel and PowerPoint files can now be directly sent to your advertising display alongside PDFs. RSS feeds are also available in the form of a scrolling text ticker on the screen. Websites with HTML5 can also be shown on your display, great for displaying dynamic online content or even social media feeds.

Connectivity

Connecting the Cloud Network Media Player to your screen via HDMI or VGA allows you to update your screen either wirelessly (via a Wi-Fi network) or via a Local Area Network (LAN) connection; both options are available with this media player. We can also offer a 4G solution if the location does not already have internet access.
