Manage your digital signage remotely from almost anywhere
MySignage Portal is a browser-based cloud content management system developed specifically for compatible Allsee Technologies digital signage displays and media players. It gives you a straightforward way to upload media, create playlists and layouts, schedule campaigns and publish content remotely without having to visit each individual screen with a USB memory stick.
The system can be used to manage a single display or a much larger network of screens installed across different departments, buildings or geographical locations. Provided the display has a suitable internet connection, authorised users can log in through a web browser, select the relevant screen or screen group and deploy updated content from virtually any location.
MySignage Portal has been developed alongside a wide range of compatible commercial display hardware, including indoor and outdoor advertising screens, touchscreens, high-brightness window displays, digital A-boards, video walls and integrated media players. This close relationship between the software and hardware simplifies installation, improves compatibility and enables useful screen-management functions that may not be available from a basic third-party content platform.
Choose from one-year, three-year and lifetime subscription options. The relevant display must be network enabled and activated for use with MySignage Portal. Where this CMS is offered as an option on a compatible Printdesigns display, the activation requirement is included within the selected CMS option.
Browser-Based Access
Manage compatible screens through an intuitive online portal without installing specialist desktop software.
Remote Publishing
Upload and deploy content to one screen, selected groups or an entire display network.
Scheduling and Dayparting
Plan content by time and date so the right message appears automatically when it is needed.
Scalable Management
Start with one display and continue using the same platform as your digital signage network grows.
Straightforward content management for everyday users
MySignage Portal has been designed to make professional digital signage accessible to businesses and organisations without requiring specialist technical knowledge. Its logical workflow guides users through uploading media, creating content and selecting the screens that should receive it.
There is no local server infrastructure to maintain and no need for a computer to remain permanently connected to each display. Once a compatible screen has been activated and connected to the internet, it can receive published content through the cloud-based portal.
Simple image and video campaigns can be published quickly, while more advanced tools such as layouts, scheduling, user permissions, reporting and interactive content are available when your requirements become more sophisticated.
Publish content in seconds
The Rapid Publishing tool is designed for quick day-to-day updates. Choose the orientation of the screen, upload the required media and select the display or displays you want to update. New content can then be published without rebuilding an existing complex project.
This makes the system particularly useful for changing prices, promotions, menus, event information, opening times, announcements and other time-sensitive messages. The same process works whether you are updating one screen or distributing the content across a larger network.
A selection of editable templates is also available, giving users a practical starting point when they do not already have finished digital signage artwork.
Rapid publishing in three simple steps
1
Choose the orientation
Select portrait or landscape to match the screen you are updating.
2
Upload your media
Add the images, videos or other supported content required for the campaign.
3
Select and publish
Choose an individual screen, a group or your wider network and send the content.
Integrated commercial display solutions
MySignage Portal has been developed in conjunction with compatible commercial display hardware. On many supported products, the Android media player is integrated directly into the display, reducing the need for an external playback device, additional cabling and a separate third-party software platform.
This integrated approach can simplify installation and support while giving the CMS access to compatible screen-management functions. It also provides a consistent interface across a wide range of display formats, from a single advertising screen to touch displays, outdoor products and multi-screen installations.
Hardware capabilities vary between products. Network connection methods, remote commands, touch features and synchronisation should always be checked against the specification of the display being used.
Effortless hardware setup
Compatible displays can be configured for MySignage Portal before dispatch. Once the unit arrives, the normal on-site requirement is to position and power the screen, connect it to a supported Wi-Fi or wired network and confirm that it can communicate with the portal.
There is no need to install the CMS on a local office computer or register separate software on every screen. Users access the portal through a web browser, while the display receives and stores its own published content.
The precise setup process depends on the chosen display and network. Some products support Wi-Fi only, while others also provide LAN or mobile connectivity. Please check the relevant product specification or contact us when planning the installation.
Create dynamic multi-zone layouts
A CMS-managed screen is not limited to showing one full-screen image or video at a time. MySignage Portal allows you to create portrait or landscape layouts containing multiple zones and layers, each with its own content.
Combine images, videos, static text, scrolling messages, RSS feeds, live webpages, backgrounds, frames, masks, clocks, widgets and other supported media within one coordinated design. Each zone can be positioned and sized independently to create a layout suited to your communication requirements.
This is useful for menu boards, corporate information displays, reception screens, retail campaigns, travel information, internal communications and any application where several types of information need to appear together.
Support for particular file types, web content, office documents and fonts may depend on the display, browser technology and project configuration. Custom fonts for static text can be considered where consistent brand presentation is required.
Content scheduling and remote screen control
Once a playlist or layout has been created, it can be published immediately or scheduled to appear at selected times and dates. This allows content to change automatically throughout the day and makes it possible to prepare future campaigns in advance.
A restaurant could show breakfast content in the morning, switch to a lunch menu at midday and display evening promotions later on. A retailer could schedule a sale to begin automatically on a particular date, while an event venue could remove information once an event has finished.
With compatible integrated displays, authorised users may also be able to send remote commands such as rebooting the screen, starting or stopping playback, changing orientation or formatting internal storage. Available commands vary by product and should be treated as hardware-dependent functions.
Manage one screen or an entire display network
Displays can be managed individually or organised into groups, making it easy to publish the same campaign across several locations while retaining the ability to send local content to a particular branch, department or screen.
This structure is useful for retailers, hospitality groups, educational organisations, corporate estates, healthcare environments and other users operating screens across multiple sites. A central team can maintain brand consistency while allowing controlled local variation where required.
Compatible hardware can also support synchronised playback across several screens for coordinated presentations or more advanced multi-screen installations. Synchronisation performance and layout options depend on the selected display hardware and network conditions.
Manage users, branding and reporting
User Management
Create multiple user accounts and assign different privileges by person or user group. Access can be limited by CMS function and by individual screen, helping larger organisations maintain control over who can publish what and where.
Customised Interface
The portal interface can be personalised with your company logo and a colour scheme based on your branding, creating a more familiar environment for internal users.
Reports and Logs
Review user activity, player updates, display status and content playback information. Proof-of-play reporting can be useful where organisations need evidence of when particular media appeared.
Build immersive touchscreen experiences
MySignage Portal can also be used to create interactive touch content for compatible touchscreen displays. Using a visual workflow, users can build buttons, navigation, linked pages, images, video and other interactive elements without developing a separate application from scratch.
This can be used for product browsing, visitor information, wayfinding, exhibition content, property searches, self-service information and other applications where the viewer needs to choose what appears next.
Standard advertising screens and interactive touch displays can be managed through the same platform, helping organisations expand into interactive signage without adopting an entirely different CMS.
Advanced interactive features
For more advanced projects, MySignage Portal can connect touch interactions and real-world triggers with compatible displays and sensor hardware. These functions require suitable products and project-specific configuration.
Touch and Learn
A user can tap content on one touchscreen and trigger a corresponding change on another display or video wall. This is suitable for product exploration, exhibitions, museums, showrooms and interactive presentations.
Physical and Sensor Triggers
Compatible sensors, RFID devices, physical buttons and motion detection can be used to change digital signage content in response to real-world actions. The precise hardware and integration requirements depend on the proposed application.
Connect digital signage with existing systems
MySignage Portal provides an API for advanced integrations, allowing compatible applications and business systems to communicate with the CMS. This can reduce manual content updates and support more dynamic signage based on information held elsewhere.
Potential applications include linking displays with booking systems, databases, stock information, internal applications, pricing platforms or other sources of regularly changing data.
API projects are normally bespoke and may require software development, testing and suitable hardware. Please discuss your intended application with us before ordering so the requirements and available support can be assessed.
Compatibility and activation
MySignage Portal has been developed specifically for compatible Allsee Technologies digital signage displays and media players. It is not a universal CMS and cannot normally be used with screens purchased from other manufacturers.
This standalone product is intended for customers who already own a compatible Allsee display and need to purchase or renew a MySignage Portal subscription. If the display has previously been activated for the platform, select the required subscription period and the licence can be renewed or extended without a further activation charge in most cases.
If a compatible Allsee display has never previously been activated for MySignage Portal, a separate one-off activation charge will normally apply in addition to the subscription price. Activation links the display or media player to the portal and enables remote cloud content management.
When purchasing a new compatible digital signage display from Printdesigns, activation is normally included when a MySignage Portal CMS option is selected as part of the product order. This standalone subscription page is therefore most commonly used for renewals, subscription extensions or adding portal access to an existing compatible Allsee display.
If you are unsure whether your display is compatible or has already been activated, please contact us before ordering so we can check the device and confirm whether an activation charge will apply.
