The backpack is built around a versatile mounting system that can support several different wearable display formats. For this X-banner version, the four longer support poles are used to tension the printed graphic from each corner.
The four long poles with hooked ends are the components used for the X-banner configuration. Each pole connects to one of the four angled sockets on the backpack's central hub, with the hooked ends securing the corners of the printed graphic.
The shorter sectional flag poles are not required for normal X-banner use. They allow the same backpack hardware to be converted to a Feather, Teardrop or Rectangle backpack flag in the future if you purchase the appropriate printed graphic separately.
Four Angled Mounting Points Create The X-Banner Frame
The X-banner configuration uses the four angled sockets positioned around the central hub on the rear of the backpack.

A fabric X-banner graphic can be folded for compact transport and can be stored with the backpack. A PVC banner should be rolled rather than folded to avoid creasing, so it will need to be transported separately in rolled form.
