These 1200mm wide Espresso café barrier cross arms are designed for use with the Espresso Café Barrier System from Printdesigns, providing a simple and cost-effective solution for creating barrier layouts in cafés, restaurants, bars and retail environments.
Ideal for everyday commercial use, the Espresso system offers a practical way to define outdoor seating areas, guide pedestrian flow and display branded graphics, particularly in spaces where a straightforward, budget-friendly barrier solution is required.
Each pair of cross arms forms the main horizontal support for a single café barrier graphic panel when used with Espresso posts and bases.
Manufactured from durable steel with a hard-wearing black powder-coated finish, these cross arms are designed for reliability and ease of use in busy hospitality settings. The top rail supports the graphic via a pocket, while the lower edge is secured using fixing points to keep the banner correctly positioned and tensioned.
Cross arms are supplied in pairs and are available in three standard widths: 1200mm, 1500mm and 2000mm, allowing you to configure barrier layouts to suit your available space.
Compatibility Information
Important: These cross arms are only compatible with Espresso café barrier posts supplied by Printdesigns.
They are suitable for use with:
- Espresso café barrier posts and bases originally supplied by Printdesigns
- Espresso café barrier graphics designed for this system
They are not suitable for use with:
- Café barrier systems or components from other manufacturers
- Posts not supplied by Printdesigns
- Other café barrier ranges, including Medio or Primo systems
Due to differences in design, connection methods and component sizing, these cross arms are not intended for use with third-party café barrier products.
System Configuration
The Espresso café barrier system is modular and can be configured to suit a wide range of layouts.
To create a single 1200mm wide barrier panel, you will typically require:
- 2 x Espresso posts and bases
- 1 x pair of Espresso 1200mm cross arms (this product)
- 1 x printed graphic panel
For longer runs of barriers, each additional section generally requires one extra post, one pair of cross arms and one additional graphic.
Wall mounting brackets may also be used where a barrier run needs to be fixed to a wall instead of supported by a freestanding post.

Returns & Made-to-Order Policy
All café barrier components are purchased to order.
If items are ordered incorrectly or are not compatible with an existing system not supplied by Printdesigns:
- A 20% restocking fee will apply
- Outbound delivery costs are non-refundable
- Return and collection costs are the responsibility of the customer
