Our cardboard cut-outs are printed onto a variety of materials depending on the application and size.
The standard material for most life-size cut-outs is a 5mm thick foam-centred card and that is both lightweight and rigid. A strut is usually fastened to the reverse of the panel to allow the cut-out to free-stand. For larger or more structural cardboard cutouts we can use more substantial 16mm thick engineered card that has a stronger, honeycomb core.
We can produce great-looking cardboard cutouts from any good quality photograph by removing any unwanted background detail, leaving only the free-standing cardboard cutout figure or image in place. We have produced lifesize cardboard cutouts for all kinds of events including trade shows, conferences, retail displays, photo opportunities and even birthdays and parties.
We can add messages or speech bubbles to your images should you wish at no additional cost, please just give us a call to confirm your requirements. Lifesize cardboard cutouts are available as standard in a single size 180cm tall x 90cm wide or a double size of 180cm x 120cm. The single size cardboard cutout format is ideal for an individual character whereas the large double size format is better suited for two characters side by side.

Artwork Requirements -
The quality of your cardboard cutout will depend directly on the quality of your original image. Soft focus, blurred or fuzzy images will not produce and good quality result whereas a high-resolution image taken with a good quality camera is ideal.
The ideal photograph for a cardboard cut out would be a full-length shot featuring the subject legs. If your legs are missing, don't worry, because we can usually add a rectangle or box to the base of your image instead.
