Printed barrier covers provide a great way of adding branding at sports events, concerts, festivals and other public events. We offer two types of pedestrian crowd barrier graphics that are quick and easy to install. Our printed banners fit inside the frame whereas our custom fitted covers fit over the top of the frame providing advertising on both sides.
About Pedestrian Barriers
Crowd barriers are commonly used structures that are designed for guiding and protecting pedestrian traffic. Most crowd barriers are made from galvanised steel and look similar to the type of structure as shown here.
The design allows for each barrier to link together so that continuous rows of fences can be joined together.
Our printed graphics are designed specifically to fit inside or over the frame of the barrier in order to provide custom branding at your event.
Crowd Barrier Banner Sizes
Pedestrian crowd barriers are normally either 2300mm or 2500mm in total width and we can produce banners that are designed to fit either of these common sizes.
Before ordering banners or printed jacket covers for your barrier, please measure the external width of your barrier fence in order to determine which size you have. If you are unsure, please take some photos of your barriers and email them to our team at [email protected] along with measurements as we can produce custom sized banners or covers on request.
Choice Of Crowd Barrier Style
We offer two types of pedestrian crowd banner that provides a choice of a single or double sided printed graphic depending on your preference and budget. Both types can be custom printed with any design. Please refer to our downloadable artwork templates that provide detailed instructions about how to set up your files for printing. Pedestrian Crowd Barrier Banners
This type of banner is designed to fit inside the frame of the crowd barrier. The print is finished with eyelets around the edge so it can be attached to the frame using cable ties or elasticated bungee cord.
The material is printed onto one side but the image will show through to the reverse of the fabric. Please note that this means that any content on the rear of the print will be mirror image.
The material we use is a perforated air mesh fabric that allows wind to diffuse through the material.
Our air mesh fabric is made from polyester and the material can be folded for transport without damage and it can even be machine washed.
Pedestrian Crowd Barrier Jacket Covers
This type of cover is made from two pieces of printed fabric that are sewn back to back rather like a pillowcase. Small openings are left on the vertical edges of the barrier cover so that the fence can still be joined together as normal.
The sides of the cover and the bottom edge are sewn with velcro fastening so the printed cover is easy to install and remove.
The material used is a stretch polyester fabric so the fabric can tension on the barrier to give a flat smooth finish. Artwork is printed onto both sides and can be viewed correctly from either face of the barrier.
Recyclable Print Materials
Pedestrian barrier banners and jacket covers are made from polyester based fabrics that are printed with a dye sublimation process. The material is waterproof, resistant to fading and durable for use outdoors in all weather conditions.
Being polyester based, our graphics can normally be recycled with other textiles. They can also be folded whch means that they are convenient for storage and transport.
If you are re-using your banners for multiple events or projects, it is good to know that our fabric material can be machine washed so they can be cleaned easily should they become marked or dirty.
Setting Up Artwork For Pedestrian Barrier Banners And Covers
Please download our artwork templates that will provide the correct dimensions for both pedestrian crowd banners and covers. We offer templates to fit either 2300mm wide or 2500mm wide barriers so please measure your barrier and design your artwork using the correct template.
