The Primo Café Barrier Post and Base is designed for use with the Primo Café Barrier System from Printdesigns, providing a smart, stable and professional way to create branded outdoor seating areas, queue management zones and pedestrian guidance layouts.
Manufactured to complement the premium finish of the Primo range, each post and base is designed to work with Primo cross arms and café barrier graphics to create a modular barrier system tailored to your available space.
Primo café barriers are ideal for cafés, restaurants, bars, hotels, retail spaces and hospitality venues looking to define outdoor areas with a durable and stylish barrier solution.
Important Compatibility Information
This post and base is only compatible with Primo café barrier components originally supplied by Printdesigns.
It is designed specifically for use with:
- Primo café barrier cross arms supplied by Printdesigns
- Primo café barrier graphics supplied for this system
It is not intended for use with:
- Cross arms or barrier parts from other suppliers
- Other café barrier systems not originally supplied by Printdesigns
- Other café barrier ranges, including Espresso or Medio
Due to differences in design, dimensions and fittings between manufacturers, we cannot guarantee compatibility with any third-party café barrier components.
How the System Works
The Primo Café Barrier System is modular, allowing you to build a configuration that suits your space.
For a single panel, you will typically require:
- 2 x Primo post and base units
- 1 x pair of Primo cross arms
- 1 x printed graphic panel
For connected runs, each additional panel will usually require:
- 1 x additional Primo post and base
- 1 x additional pair of Primo cross arms
- 1 x additional graphic panel
Wall mounting brackets may also be available for layouts where one end of the barrier run is to be fixed to a wall rather than supported with a freestanding post.
Ordering Advice
If you are ordering additional posts for an existing café barrier setup, please ensure your original system was supplied by Printdesigns and that it is from the Primo range.

Returns & Made-to-Order Items
All café barrier components are purchased to order from our manufacturer.
If products are ordered incorrectly or prove to be incompatible with an existing system not originally supplied by Printdesigns:
- Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee
- Outbound delivery charges are non-refundable
- Return and collection costs are the responsibility of the customer
