Single or Double-Sided Placards
Single-Sided Placards
A single-sided placard includes one printed Correx panel and one prepared timber stick. This is the most economical choice where your message only needs to face one direction.
Double-Sided Placards
A double-sided placard includes two individually printed Correx panels. The panels attach back-to-back on opposite sides of the same 19mm-deep timber stick, allowing your message to be viewed from either direction.
The two faces can carry the same artwork or different designs, provided suitable artwork is supplied for each side.

Portrait or Landscape Printed Placards
Every standard placard size can be supplied in either portrait or landscape orientation. Select your preferred orientation from the product options when placing your order.
Portrait Orientation
Portrait means the panel is taller than it is wide. This layout is often well suited to bold messages, campaign graphics, demonstration placards and artwork designed to be read from top to bottom.
Landscape Orientation
Landscape means the panel is wider than it is tall. This layout works well for wider logos, group messages, photographic designs, promotional branding and artwork containing longer lines of text.
How the size is shown: Our standard sizes are listed using the portrait dimensions. Choosing landscape simply rotates the panel. For example, a 400 × 600mm medium placard becomes 600 × 400mm when ordered in landscape orientation.

Which Placard Size Is Right for You?
We offer printed placards in three standard sizes: Small, Medium and Large. Each size is supplied with a timber stick suited to the size and intended use of the placard.
Small Placard
Panel size: 298 × 398mm
The small placard is supplied with a timber stick that protrudes approximately 400mm below the panel. Its compact size makes it lightweight and easy to carry for long periods, including when held above head height.
Medium Placard
Panel size: 400 × 600mm
The medium placard is also supplied with a timber stick that protrudes approximately 400mm below the panel. It provides a noticeably larger print area while remaining practical to carry by hand.
Large Placard
Panel size: 600 × 800mm
Our largest placard is supplied with an extended timber stick that protrudes approximately 1,400mm below the panel. The bottom of the stick can be rested on the ground, so the full weight does not need to be supported by hand. This size provides the largest display area and the greatest visual impact.

Quality Timber Placard Sticks
Every printed placard is supplied with a substantial 38 × 19mm timber stick. The timber is cut to the correct length for your chosen placard size.
A 38mm-wide strip of strong foam-backed adhesive tape is applied vertically to the centre of the rear of the printed panel. This makes it easier to position the timber stick accurately and avoids the need to drill or screw through the printed face.

4mm Polypropylene Correx Board
Our placards are produced from 4mm fluted polypropylene board, commonly known as Correx. The internal fluted structure creates a lightweight yet rigid panel that is easy to carry and suitable for temporary indoor and outdoor display.
Correx does not absorb water and is resistant to shattering, making it particularly well suited to portable signs used at demonstrations, campaigns, sporting events and promotions.
Polypropylene is identified by recycling code 5. Recycling availability varies between local authorities and commercial recycling facilities.

Simple self-assembly
How to Assemble Your Printed Placard
To reduce the risk of damage during transport, the printed Correx panel and timber stick are supplied separately. A 38mm-wide strip of strong foam-backed adhesive tape is already applied vertically to the centre of the rear of the panel, making it easy to position the stick accurately. Assembly takes only a few moments and requires no tools.

Locate the Adhesive Strip
Turn the panel over and locate the vertical strip of foam-backed adhesive tape on the rear face.

Peel Away the Liner
Carefully remove the blue release liner without touching the exposed adhesive.

Position the Timber Stick
Place the timber stick directly over the exposed adhesive tape and align it centrally.

Press Firmly Into Place
Press firmly along the full bonded area to create a secure and even attachment.
Assembling a double-sided placard: Attach the first panel to one face of the timber stick, then repeat the process with the second panel on the opposite face. Carefully align the two panels so they sit neatly back-to-back.

Prepare your artwork in the same orientation selected when ordering. For example, a medium portrait placard should be prepared at 400 × 600mm, while the same panel in landscape should be prepared at 600 × 400mm.

Are the timber sticks already attached?
No. The stick and printed panel are supplied separately to reduce the risk of damage in transit.
How do I attach the placard to the stick?
Peel away the liner from the adhesive strip, position the timber stick centrally over the tape and press firmly along the bonded area.
Which placard size should I choose?
Small and Medium are lightweight hand-held options. Large has a 600 × 800mm panel and a long stick that can be rested on the ground.
Can you make a custom-sized placard?
