Strut cards, also known as show cards, counter display cards or POS display cards, provide a simple and cost-effective way to position your printed message directly in front of customers.
Your artwork is digitally printed directly onto rigid 2000-micron grey-centred display board using our full-colour UV printing process. An integrated fold-out support on the reverse enables the card to stand without a separate frame, holder or fixture.
A strut card consists of rigid display board printed directly with your artwork and fitted with an integrated cardboard support on the reverse.
Opening the support causes the card to lean backwards at a slight angle, creating a stable free-standing display. Its compact footprint makes it ideal for locations where counter or tabletop space is limited but your message still needs to remain clearly visible.

The support is manufactured from card and permanently fixed to the reverse of the printed display. A locking tongue holds the support open and helps maintain the correct display angle.
When the strut is folded closed, the complete display becomes relatively flat, making it straightforward to pack, distribute and store between campaigns.
Ready for countertop display: simply open the rear support and secure the locking tongue before positioning the card.

Standard strut cards are available in A5, A4 and A3 formats. Bespoke sizes may also be possible where a different format is required.
Choose an unlaminated finish for a natural printed appearance, or add gloss lamination to increase surface sheen, enrich the printed colours and provide additional protection.
Please note: gloss lamination is not available when the optional business-card or leaflet pocket is selected.

A folded card pocket can be fitted to the front of the display to hold business cards, appointment cards, small leaflets or other printed literature for customers to take away.
Pocket dimensions and positioning can be adjusted to suit the item you intend to display. Please contact us after ordering to confirm the required pocket size and location.
The pocket is manufactured from unlaminated card. For this reason, gloss lamination cannot be selected when a front pocket is required.

The minimum order quantity is 20 strut cards, with all units normally produced using the same artwork.
You can divide an order between multiple designs where different offers, products, locations or promotional messages are required. Each additional artwork file must be checked, prepared and processed separately before printing.
Additional artwork versions cost £2 + VAT each after the first included design.
For example, an order of 20 strut cards using 20 different designs would include 19 additional artwork versions, resulting in an artwork surcharge of £38 + VAT.
Both products are suitable for counters, desks and tables, but each is intended for a slightly different type of application.

Printed strut cards can be produced in either portrait or landscape orientation, allowing you to choose the format that best suits your artwork, message and available display space.
Portrait cards work particularly well for promotional posters, product imagery and designs with a vertical layout. Landscape cards are ideal for wider messages, menus, price lists, directional information and graphics designed to be viewed horizontally.
Both orientations are available in A5, A4 and A3 sizes. Simply prepare your artwork using the template that matches your selected size and orientation.
