The 43" High Brightness Outdoor Digital Android Battery A-Board combines a
1,500cd/m² sunlight-readable display, rechargeable battery and integrated
Android media player in a completely portable digital signage solution. Designed for outdoor
commercial use, it gives businesses the flexibility of a traditional pavement sign with the
impact and versatility of full-motion digital content.
The latest generation features an IP56-rated weather-resistant enclosure,
up to 27 hours of battery operation and a significantly reduced
5.5-hour full charging time. Rugged integrated castors allow the display to
be moved between storage and its operating position without requiring a permanent mains
connection.
Use the display outside restaurants, cafés, shops, dealerships, hotels, visitor attractions,
garden centres and event venues, or bring it indoors for reception areas, exhibitions,
shopping centres and other high-footfall commercial environments.
Content can be updated locally by USB at no ongoing cost, prepared in advance using the free
Playlist Editor software, or managed remotely by choosing a
MySignage Portal CMS option when ordering.

Choose how you manage your content
The display can be supplied as a straightforward USB plug-and-play screen or with access
to the MySignage Portal cloud content management system. Select your preferred option from
the Content Management Option menu when ordering.
Standard
USB Plug & Play
Copy compatible images and videos to an empty USB memory stick and insert it into
one of the display's USB ports. The media is copied to the internal storage, so the
USB drive does not need to remain attached during playback.
Ideal for individual screens, occasional content changes and businesses that are
happy to update the display locally. There is no CMS subscription charge.
Remote management
MySignage Portal CMS
Select a one-year, three-year or lifetime MySignage Portal option to manage content
remotely over an internet connection. Authorised users can upload media, organise
playlists and schedule campaigns through the online portal without visiting the screen.
Particularly useful for frequently changing promotions, remotely located displays
and organisations operating multiple compatible screens.
Please note: Wi-Fi hardware is built into the display, but remote portal
access is only included when a MySignage Portal CMS option is selected. The CMS options
shown on this product include the required activation.
Create scheduled playlists without a CMS subscription
USB operation is not limited to simply loading a collection of files and allowing them to play
continuously. The free Windows Playlist Editor gives plug-and-play users greater control over
how their presentation appears.
Create and edit playlists, organise images and videos into your preferred order, set image
durations, choose transitions, add compatible audio and build schedules for different content.
For example, a restaurant could automatically show breakfast promotions in the morning, a lunch
menu during the middle of the day and evening offers later on.

High brightness display
Designed for clear viewing in bright outdoor environments
Conventional indoor screens can appear washed out when viewed in bright surroundings.
This A-board uses a 1,500cd/m² high-brightness panel, up to five times
brighter than a typical domestic television, helping images, video and text remain clear
and vibrant outdoors.
The 43-inch display provides Full HD 1920 × 1080 resolution with a wide 178°
overall viewing angle. Its portrait orientation is particularly effective for menus,
promotions, directional information, advertising and customer-facing digital signage.
The high-brightness LCD is also engineered to resist the blackening defect that can affect
unsuitable screens exposed to intense sunlight and high panel temperatures. The LCD panel
is specified to support surface temperatures of up to 110°C, helping
maintain reliable image performance in demanding outdoor environments.
Automatic brightness adjustment
A built-in ambient light sensor monitors surrounding conditions and automatically
adjusts screen brightness. The display can increase its output in bright conditions
and reduce it when less brightness is required, helping optimise visibility and battery use.
Tempered anti-glare glass
The LCD is protected by a tempered glass front with an anti-glare treatment designed
to diffuse external reflections while retaining screen brightness, improving readability
and helping protect the panel beneath.
Outdoor operation
IP56-rated protection for outdoor environments
The latest-generation enclosure carries an IP56 rating, providing robust
protection against wet weather and airborne dust. This makes the display suitable for
everyday outdoor commercial use in customer-facing locations.
The weather rating does not mean the display should be submerged or cleaned using a
pressure washer. It should also only be operated within the manufacturer's stated
environmental limits. The specified operating temperature range is
0°C to 40°C.
For security and to maximise product life, we recommend moving the display into a secure
indoor location when premises are closed or whenever it will be left unattended.
Fully portable
Designed to be moved and repositioned
Although this is a substantial 44.7kg commercial display, it has been designed to be
wheeled rather than carried. The rear guiding handle and integrated rugged castors make
it straightforward to move the screen between secure storage and its operating position.
Specialised vibration-resistant castors help minimise vibration when travelling across
uneven surfaces, helping protect the internal components. Care should still be taken when
crossing kerbs, steps, deep joints and badly broken paving.
Once positioned, the built-in locking bar secures the castors and can accept a suitable
padlock to discourage unauthorised movement.

Integrated lithium-polymer battery
The commercial-grade integrated lithium-polymer battery provides up to 27 hours of
operation from a full charge. The latest charging system reduces the quoted full charging
time to approximately 5.5 hours, allowing the unit to be returned to service
considerably faster than the previous generation.
Actual running time will vary according to screen brightness, displayed content, ambient
conditions, configuration, usage and battery condition. A rear charge-level indicator
displays remaining battery capacity together with an estimate of available running time.
The battery is housed separately from the other internal components for additional
protection. The display can also operate while connected to its charger, although
permanently leaving a rechargeable battery connected to power is not recommended for
optimum long-term battery condition.

Robust fixed enclosure with intelligent temperature control
Unlike a traditional folding pavement sign, this digital A-board uses a rigid,
non-folding enclosure designed to provide a stable platform for the LCD panel,
rechargeable battery and electronics.
An intelligent temperature control system uses responsive sensors and automatic fan
control to adjust airflow as required, helping maintain stable operating conditions
and protect the internal components.
The moulded polymer rear incorporates the guiding handle, charge indicator, charging
connection, power controls, ventilation and castor locking arrangement in one
purpose-designed commercial enclosure.
Integrated Android 14 commercial media player
The integrated Android 14 media player uses an RK3568 64-bit quad-core processor with
4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Content is copied to the internal memory
rather than requiring a USB stick to remain permanently connected.
Supported media includes Full HD H.264 and H.265 video at up to 60 frames per second,
together with MPG, AVI and MP4 video files, AAC and MP3 audio, and JPG and PNG images.
Two integrated 5W speakers provide sound when required.
Built-in functionality includes scheduled power control, playback scheduling, file management,
playback logs and Wi-Fi configuration. Compatible third-party Android applications may also
be installed where required, although software compatibility should always be checked before purchase.
Dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 are built in. The manufacturer also offers an
optional 4G/SIM configuration for installations where suitable Wi-Fi is unavailable; please
contact us before ordering if mobile connectivity is required.

Frequently asked questions
Can I update the display remotely?
Yes. Select a one-year, three-year or lifetime MySignage Portal CMS option when ordering.
Once activated and connected to the internet, the display can receive content through the
online portal. The standard plug-and-play option does not include remote CMS access.
How do I update the standard plug-and-play version?
Copy supported images and videos to the root directory of an empty USB memory stick.
Insert it into the display and the files are copied to the internal storage. Once the
transfer is complete, the USB drive can be removed and the stored content played on a loop.
Can I control the order and timing of USB content?
Yes. Download the free Windows Playlist Editor from the Downloads tab to arrange media,
set image durations and transitions, add compatible audio and create scheduled playlists
before transferring them to the display by USB.
Is the activation charge included with the CMS options?
Yes. The one-year, three-year and lifetime MySignage Portal CMS options shown in the
Content Management Option menu include the initial activation required for remote portal use.
How long does the battery last?
The manufacturer states a maximum average runtime of up to 27 hours from a full charge.
Actual performance varies according to brightness, displayed content, ambient conditions,
settings, usage and battery condition.
How long does the display take to recharge?
The latest-generation model has a quoted full charging time of approximately
5.5 hours.
Can it run from mains power?
Yes. The display can operate while connected to its charger. For optimum long-term
rechargeable battery condition, however, we would not recommend unnecessarily leaving
the unit permanently connected to power.
Can it be used in the rain?
Yes. The enclosure is IP56 rated and designed for outdoor use in wet weather. It should
not be submerged or pressure washed and should only be operated within the manufacturer's
stated 0°C to 40°C operating temperature range.
Can it be left outside overnight?
Although the casing is designed for outdoor use, we recommend bringing the display into
a secure indoor location when premises are closed. This reduces exposure to theft,
vandalism, accidental damage and environmental conditions outside the specified limits.
Is the screen visible in direct sunlight?
The 1,500cd/m² high-brightness panel, anti-glare glass and automatic brightness
adjustment are specifically designed to improve readability in bright outdoor environments.
As with any LCD, visibility will vary according to viewing angle, content design and the
intensity and direction of sunlight.
Is the display easy to move?
The unit weighs 44.7kg but has been designed to be wheeled rather than carried. Rugged
castors and a rear guiding handle make it straightforward to reposition on suitable
surfaces. Care should be taken around kerbs, steps and badly uneven paving.
Does the locking bar prevent theft?
The locking bar secures the castors and can accept a suitable padlock to discourage
unauthorised movement. It does not make the display theft-proof, so secure indoor storage
is recommended whenever the unit is left unattended.
What size should my content be?
The physical screen is portrait. For best results, artwork and video should generally be
created in a portrait 9:16 format, typically 1080 × 1920 pixels. Refer to the user
manual for supported media formats and preparation guidance.
Can I display PowerPoint presentations?
PowerPoint files are not intended to be played directly. Export the presentation as a
compatible video or series of images before transferring it to the display.
Can several screens show synchronised content?
Compatible network-enabled displays can be configured for synchronised playback.
Contact us before ordering if synchronisation is an important requirement so the proposed
setup can be checked.
How should the screen be cleaned?
Disconnect power before cleaning and use a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not spray cleaning
products directly onto the display. Refer to the user manual for the manufacturer's full
cleaning and maintenance instructions.
