TEXStyle Straight Fabric Display Stand in an exhibition venue
Portable straight exhibition backdrop

TEXStyle Straight Fabric Display Stand

The TEXStyle Straight Fabric Display Stand is a lightweight, portable exhibition backdrop designed to create a clean, flat branded display wall with maximum visual impact and minimal floor space.

Unlike traditional magnetic pop-up stands that use multiple rollable graphic panels, TEXStyle displays use a seamless stretch polyester fabric graphic that pulls over a lightweight aluminium tubular frame. The result is a smooth, professional display with no visible panel joins, no magnetic strips and no rigid panels to dent, crack or curl.

  • Seamless one-piece fabric graphic with no visible panel joins
  • Straight backdrop shape ideal for shell schemes, media walls and flat exhibition spaces
  • Lightweight 32mm aluminium tubular frame with stabilising support feet
  • Machine washable stretch polyester graphic
  • Photographic quality 1440dpi dye-sublimation print
  • Replacement graphics available without replacing the frame
  • Printed, sewn, test-built and quality checked in-house

Flat Display Wall

Ideal where you want a clean, straight branded backdrop against a rear wall.

Seamless Graphic

One-piece fabric print with no joins running through your artwork.

Fast Assembly

Typical assembly time is around five minutes by one person.

Reusable Frame

Order replacement graphics whenever your branding changes.

Why choose straight?

Maximum Graphic Impact with Minimal Stand-Off

A straight fabric display is the ideal choice when you want to build a branded backdrop close to the rear wall of an exhibition stand, shell scheme or event space. The straight profile gives you the maximum usable graphic area while keeping the footprint as efficient as possible.

The support feet create a small amount of stand-off from the wall, but this is fairly minimal. The depth from the centre of the frame to the rear of the foot is approximately 200mm, with an overall practical stand-off of around 220mm allowing for the thickness of the frame.

This makes the TEXStyle Straight Display particularly useful for photo backdrops, media walls, conference stages, promotional displays and exhibition spaces where you want to position a table, counter or product display directly in front of your branded backdrop.

Everything included

Complete Display Kit in One Compact Carry Bag

Your TEXStyle Straight Display is supplied as a complete kit including the aluminium tubular frame, printed stretch fabric graphic, stabilising support feet, carry bag, assembly instructions, Allen key and soft cotton gloves for handling the graphic during setup.

The fabric graphic folds away with the frame, so there is no need to carefully roll panels or store rigid graphics separately. This makes the display much easier to transport, handle and store between events.

Fast setup

Five Minute Assembly

The TEXStyle Straight Display is designed for fast, straightforward assembly by one person. The frame sections push together, the fabric graphic pulls over the frame, the bottom zip is closed, and the stabilising feet are attached using the supplied Allen key.

Push-fit frame

Numbered Tubular Frame Sections

The frame is made from lightweight 32mm aluminium tubing. Most tube sections are connected internally with bungee cord, helping keep the number of separate parts to a minimum and making assembly more intuitive.

The labelled frame sections push together using simple button connectors that click securely into place. Each frame includes at least one central support bar to help prevent bowing when the graphic is under tension. Wider display sizes may use additional vertical support bars to maintain rigidity across the larger span.

Simple push-fit connectors allow the frame sections to click together securely without specialist tools.

Numbered Sections

Numbered tube sections make it clear which parts connect together, while support bars help keep the frame square and stable.

Stretch fabric graphic

The Graphic Pulls Over the Frame Like a Cover

The TEXStyle Straight Display uses a high-elasticity polyester fabric graphic that slides over the assembled tubular frame like a fitted cover. The fabric is deliberately designed to work under tension, helping produce a smooth, wrinkle-free finish once installed.

Minor creases caused by folding during transport naturally pull out as the fabric stretches over the frame. The printed graphic is supplied as one seamless piece, so there are no panels to line up and no visible joins running through your artwork.

Eco-Friendly Printing

Printed using a water-based dye-sublimation process, producing vibrant colour without harmful solvent inks.

Stretch Polyester Fabric

The elastic fabric stretches smoothly over the frame, helping remove minor packing creases.

Machine Washable

If marked or dirty, the graphic can be machine washed at 30°C and air dried.

Cotton Gloves Included

Soft gloves are included to help minimise fingerprints while fitting the graphic.

Concealed bottom zip

Zip Closed for a Smooth, Tensioned Finish

Once the graphic has been pulled fully over the frame, the zip along the bottom edge is closed to tension the fabric. The zip sits at floor level, keeping it largely hidden from view once the display is in position.

This simple zip closure is what helps create the clean, taut finish that makes TEXStyle displays look so professional. It also makes future graphic replacement straightforward if your branding changes.

Stabilising feet

Support Feet for Straight Display Stability

Because a straight display does not have the same self-supporting curved profile as the TEXStyle Curved Display, stabilising support feet are included with every TEXStyle Straight Display.

The feet align with the lower corner sections of the frame and are secured using small Allen bolts. The Allen key required for fitting is supplied with the display. Once fitted, the feet provide stable support while still allowing the display to remain lightweight and portable.

Transport and storage

Carry It to Your Event in One Hand

One of the biggest advantages of TEXStyle displays is how easy they are to transport. The frame, support feet and folded fabric graphic pack into a compact soft carry bag that can be carried by one person.

Compared with a traditional magnetic pop-up stand in a bulky wheeled transit case, a TEXStyle Straight Display is around one-third of the weight and volume. It can usually be placed on a car seat, carried into a hotel or exhibition venue, and set up without needing a trolley or van.

Built for repeat events

Designed for Repeated Indoor Use

The TEXStyle Straight Display is designed as a highly portable indoor event display. With reasonable care during assembly, dismantling and transport, the frame can be used again and again for exhibitions, conferences, promotional events and presentations.

Like any lightweight portable display, it is not designed for outdoor use or for situations where wind may load the graphic. Heavy objects should not be placed on the feet to anchor the stand, as doing so can place excessive stress on the aluminium frame. Used correctly indoors, the system is a durable, reusable display solution.

Replacement graphics are available separately from the Accessories tab, so if your campaign or branding changes, you can keep the existing frame and simply order a new printed fabric cover.

Single or double-sided

Printing the Front and Rear of the Display

TEXStyle Straight Display graphics can be printed on the front only or on both sides. Front-only printing is the most common choice when the display is used against a wall or as a rear exhibition backdrop.

Double-sided printing is available, but high-stretch fabric cannot be made perfectly opaque. If you choose double-sided printing, we recommend using a solid colour, simple pattern or continuation of the background colour on the rear face, rather than highly contrasting text or images. This helps reduce the chance of show-through under certain lighting conditions.

Front Face

Use the front face for your main branding, message, imagery and call-to-action.

Rear Face

For double-sided graphics, we recommend a simple background or continuation of the main design.

Optional lighting

Optional LED Lighting

LED lights can be added to improve visibility, draw attention to your graphic and help your stand look more professional in dimly lit venues. Lighting is especially useful in exhibition halls, conference spaces and indoor events where ambient light levels can vary.

Without Lights

The display can be used on its own as a clean, lightweight exhibition backdrop.

With Optional Lights

Adding display lights helps illuminate the graphic and increase impact in darker event spaces.

Standard LED floodlight for TEXStyle fabric displays

Standard LED Floodlights

Compact black LED floodlights with surface-mounted LEDs and adjustable swivel heads. Supplied as a pair with clamp fittings and power adapters.

We recommend one pair for 2m, 2.5m, 3m and 4m displays. For 5m and 6m displays, two pairs can be used for broader light coverage.

Blade LED floodlight for TEXStyle fabric displays

Blade LED Lights

A premium wide-head lighting option with 135 ultra-bright LEDs per light. The wider head provides a broader and more even wash of light across the display.

Blade LED Lights are supplied individually. We recommend two lights for 2m, 2.5m, 3m and 4m displays, or four lights for 5m and 6m displays.

Print quality

Photographic Quality Dye-Sublimation Printing

Every TEXStyle graphic is printed at photographic quality using a 1440dpi dye-sublimation process. We print using water-based inks onto transfer paper before permanently sublimating the image into the polyester fabric.

The result is a vibrant, durable graphic where the print becomes part of the fabric rather than sitting as a coating on the surface. Colours are rich, gradients are smooth and the soft fabric surface helps avoid the glare and reflections often associated with plasticised rollable display graphics.

This makes TEXStyle displays especially suitable for exhibitions, media walls, conferences, press events, interviews and photographic backgrounds.

Sustainable by design

Reusable Frame and Recyclable Fabric Graphics

The TEXStyle Straight Display has been designed to be reused over and over again. If your branding changes, there is no need to replace the entire display. Simply order a replacement fabric graphic from the Accessories tab and continue using the same aluminium frame.

Reusable Hardware

The aluminium frame can be used repeatedly for future campaigns and events.

Replacement Graphics

Update your message without purchasing a complete new display stand.

Water-Based Inks

Dye-sublimation printing uses water-based inks with no harmful VOC solvent printing process.

Recyclable Polyester

The fabric graphic can generally be recycled with suitable textile materials at end of life.

Made by Printdesigns

Printed, Sewn and Test Built In-House

Printdesigns has been established since 1999 and has been producing large-format fabric graphics in-house for over 15 years. We were one of the early UK adopters of dye-sublimation fabric printing and have supplied thousands of fabric displays.

All TEXStyle graphics are printed, cut, sewn and finished at our own production facility in Staffordshire. We use computer-controlled cutting equipment with a specialist fabric handling system to ensure every graphic is cut consistently and accurately.

All sewing, including the zip, is handled in-house at our own factory. Before dispatch, every TEXStyle Straight Display is test assembled so we can check the fit of the graphic, zip alignment and final appearance.

Human Artwork Checks

Your artwork is checked by real people, not just automated software.

Email Proof Supplied

We provide a proof for approval before production begins.

In-House Production

Artwork and delivery

Artwork, Proofing and Production

Artwork templates are available under the downloads tab for every display size. When you supply artwork, we check that the size, proportions and layout are suitable for the selected product before placing your artwork into our production template.

A proof is emailed for approval before we begin production. In-house graphic design is also available if you need help creating artwork from a brief.

Standard production time is five working days. Orders received before 2pm on a weekday are normally dispatched on the same weekday the following week, subject to artwork approval. Express production is also available, reducing production time to two working days. Delivery costs and available services are calculated at checkout.

Magnetic pop-up alternative

Why Choose TEXStyle Instead of a Conventional Magnetic Pop-Up Stand?

Traditional magnetic pop-up stands use multiple rollable graphic panels which have to be carefully aligned side by side. If a panel is knocked, dented, scratched or damaged on the edge, the visible join between panels can be affected.

TEXStyle displays avoid these problems by using a single seamless fabric graphic. There are no panel joins to line up, no magnetic strips to peel away, no laminated panels to crack and no rigid graphics to dent or curl at the edges.

Frequently asked questions

FAQs

Can one person assemble the TEXStyle Straight Display?

Yes. One person can assemble the display, and assembly can take as little as five minutes once you are familiar with the frame.

Does the display require tools?

The frame itself uses push-fit connectors. The supplied Allen key is used to secure the support feet to the bottom of the frame.

Can the fabric graphic be washed?

Yes. The fabric graphic can be machine washed at 30°C and air dried. This is useful if the graphic becomes marked during handling, transport or storage.

Will the fabric crease?

The graphic is folded for transport, but the high-stretch polyester fabric tensions over the frame during assembly, helping minor creases pull out naturally.

Is the graphic printed in one piece?

Yes. The face of the display is printed as one seamless fabric graphic, so there are no visible panel joins to align.

Can I order replacement graphics?

Yes. Replacement graphics are available for every TEXStyle Straight Display size, allowing you to reuse your existing frame when your branding changes.

Can the display be printed on both sides?

Yes. Double-sided printing is available. However, because high-stretch fabric cannot be completely opaque, we recommend keeping the reverse design simple, ideally using a solid colour or continuation of the front background.

Is the display suitable for outdoor use?

No. TEXStyle Straight Displays are intended for indoor use. Although the printed fabric is water resistant, the lightweight frame is not designed to be used outdoors or exposed to wind.

Is the fabric fire rated?

Yes. The graphics conform to DIN4102 Class B1, making them suitable for use in almost all exhibition venues.

Does it come with a carry bag?

Yes. Each display is supplied with a soft carry bag designed to hold the frame, support feet and folded fabric graphic.

Can it fit in a car?

Yes. The display packs into a compact carry bag and can usually be transported on a front or rear car seat, depending on the size ordered.

Do you check my artwork?

Yes. Artwork is checked by our team before production. We also provide an email proof for approval before printing begins.

Do you offer artwork design?

Yes. We can quote for artwork design if you provide a clear brief explaining what you need.

How long does production take?

Standard production is five working days from artwork approval. Express production is available and reduces production time to two working days.

Can I buy lights later?

Yes. Compatible LED lights can be purchased separately and attached to the frame using clamp fittings.

Need help choosing the right TEXStyle display?

Our team can help with sizing, artwork setup, replacement graphics and lighting options. All printing, sewing and quality checking is handled in-house by Printdesigns in Staffordshire.

FAQs

How to supply and transfer your artwork

Once you have placed an order for a printed product, we will need you to provide us with your artwork, so we could start the production. It's important that any artwork you provide is compatible for the product(s) that you have ordered. You can find instructions regarding particular artwork requirements on the relevant product pages of our website.

If you can't provide artwork at the correct size or format then please get in touch. We offer a full in-house design service for all products and we can provide an individual quote based on your needs and requirements. Just email us with your requirements by contacting our designer directly at [email protected] or feel free to use our online chat facility for a quick consultation.

You can upload your artwork in one of several ways

  • Go to your account’s dashboard and click on an “Upload” button located next to your order number.
  • Send your artwork directly to [email protected]
  • Send your artwork to us by one of the many free file transfer websites (we recommend www.wetransfer.com)
  • Send your artwork to us using our own secure FTP server (details below)

username: ftpc
password: monday679

If you send your artwork via email, file transfer service or FTP, please send an email to [email protected] and provide your order number along with any other specific instructions.

When we receive your artwork we will update you to let you know that your files have been received. We will also confirm that the artwork you have provided is suitable for the products that you have ordered.

Is a signature required on delivery of my order?

We use a range of courier companies to deliver our exhibition stands and other products. Most couriers will require a signature on the delivery of your order to confirm the date and time of the delivery (and that the goods are received in good condition).

Normally we will email the tracking information for your order on the evening of the day of dispatch so that you can know to expect the delivery. If you want to check the progress of the delivery then you can enter the tracking information online for an update or call the telephone number provided.

If no-one is available to sign for your delivery then the courier will normally leave a card to say that a delivery was attempted and would then take the parcel away. The delivery is normally re-attempted the next working day.

Depending on the courier, the delivery could be re-attempted two or three times before the parcel would eventually be returned to us. If the courier attempts delivery on multiple occasions with no success resulting in the parcel being returned then we can re-dispatch the parcel again for you but would bill the carriage cost again.

Sometimes we are asked if the courier can telephone in advance of the delivery being made. Unfortunately this is not possible because the couriers are not generally provided with mobile telephones. All instructions tend to be relayed to the courier by the depot via a hand held computer terminal that the driver carries.

If you need to receive a delivery on a particular day but are not going to be around to sign for the parcel then the best advice we can give is to write a note explaining that you are expecting a delivery but are not around to receive it. You can request the courier leaves the parcel with no signature or with a neighbor. We would advise that you write the consignment note of the parcel on the letter and sign it.

Ultimately it is down to the drivers discretion whether to leave the parcel and so we cannot accept responsibility for late deliveries if there is no one available to accept the order when the delivery is made.

How long does production and delivery take?

For most items that are printed, the standard production time is 5 working days.

Based on standard production if an order arrives on a Monday morning (first thing) then the goods should be dispatched no later than the following Monday.

If orders are placed later in the day then we would not normally class that day as a full day’s production time and therefore an order placed on a Monday afternoon would be dispatched no later than a week the following Tuesday.

For rush orders, we offer an express production service whereby the item can printed and dispatched in 1-2 working days. An item placed on express production on a Monday would generally ship no later than Tuesday the day after. We recommend you call us prior to placing an express order to confirm your delivery schedule.

We offer a variety of courier services selectable from the checkout on our website. Standard delivery is normally next working day from the day of dispatch (so an order dispatched on a Tuesday would be delivered on Wednesday).

We also offer timed delivery services (pre-noon, pre 10.30am, pre 9am etc) at additional costs.

Please note that although we always do everything within our power to ensure that goods are dispatched on-time, there can be rare occasions whereby production could be delayed due to circumstances outside of our control. Such circumstances could involve a power outage, equipment failure etc.

With regards to courier delivery times, there is no insurance or consequential insurance for late deliveries with next day couriers. We would always recommend that you arrange for a delivery to be made in advance of your required date just in case!

For no-fail deliveries we can arrange for a dedicated vehicle and driver – please call for prices.

Can you colour match to Pantone references?

The Pantone colour scale is an industry standard series of reference colours for use in the printing industry.

Pantone or spot colours are normally used by lithographic or screen printers when printing items with a limited number of colours (for example a letterhead, or stationary). Pantone ink is purchased by the printer who then creates a screen or plate specifically for that colour ink.

We use a CMYK (full colour) process of printing rather than a spot colour method. With a CMYK print process, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black are mixed by layering ink on top of each other to create a full-colour image. Sometimes other colours like light cyan and light magenta are also used to improve print quality.

We cannot guarantee to match all Pantone colours because some Pantone’s contain pigments that push the colour outside of the spectrum of colours available with CMYK inks.

An example would be Pantone 021 orange which is a very bright, almost neon colour. It is impossible to get a close match to this colour with CMYK printing because the colour is too bright.

There are many other colours in the Pantone spectrum that are relatively easy to match but also some that are impossible to closely match. Pantone sell a solid to process guide book which is useful because the Pantone colour is shows next to the nearest CMYK colour as two separate colour chips. If you can access a Pantone solid to process guide book then you can see at a glance how closely your pantone colour can be matched with a CMYK printing process.

All artwork supplied should be set as CMYK colour mode, not Pantone spot colour. If you do not have a Pantone solid to process guide book and need some advice as to the best CMYK colour value to use in the artwork, please call and we can help.

If you have very precise colour matching requirements for your artwork then we recommend purchasing a reduced-scale hard copy proof prior to printing the finished article. The cost is £20 and includes delivery of the proof to a mainland UK address.

What resolution does my artwork need to be?

As a rule of thumb, we recommend that artwork resolution should be 150dpi or greater at full scale for a large format print (anything A2 or larger).

If you are designing your artwork at a reduced scale (say half or quarter size) then the resolution of the artwork needs to be increased proportionally so that when the file is blown-up for printing, the quality is high enough to allow for it.

So, if setting your artwork at half size then double the resolution to 300dpi or if setting the artwork at quarter size then quadruple the resolution to 600dpi!

What if my image is not big enough for 150dpi output at full size?

When printing images at very large sizes, it is not uncommon that the original file be unavailable at a large enough size to provide 150dpi output and this does not mean that you cannot use the image! In fact much smaller images can sometimes be OK for print.

Bear in mind factors that determine if the image is acceptable:-

  1. The viewing distance of the image (how closely it will be examined)
  2. The content of the image itself (does it contain lots of intricate detail or is it a more abstract image).

Most displays have a viewing distance of at least a couple of Metres and so a large background image need not contain pin-sharp detail. If the image is abstract or does not contain precise detail then you can ‘get away’ with using a smaller image.

If your image is small then you can up-sample it in an application like Photoshop which increases the image size by splitting the pixels (interpolating) into more pixels. A byproduct of this process is the image can become ‘softer’ and it is therefore a good idea to zoom-in on the picture at approximately finished size on screen and then stand back from the display to gain an impression of what the printed result would be like.

If you have concerns about image quality then let us know about it when you submit your artwork and one of our team can take a look for you.

What types of artwork files can you accept?

We support most ‘industry-standard’ artwork file types. Examples of supported formats include:-

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Indesign
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Quark XPress

We also accept generic artwork formats including:-

  • JPG
  • TIFF
  • EPS
  • PDF
  • BMP
  • PNG

When supplying artwork from the original design package (for example an Adobe Indesign file), it is important to send over all linked images and fonts as well as the Adobe Indesign document itself.

If you are exporting artwork from a design package into a generic format such as PDF then there is generally no need to supply artwork components such as images and fonts separately unless you need us to re-open and edit the file for you.

Most people would typically supply us with the exported generic file rather than the original artwork file and links.

Available Payment Methods

We accept most common credit cards including Mastercard, Visa and American Express via the payment gateway on our website. We also can accept payments via PayPal.
