Install Files Quickly & Easily
Android Freestanding Digital Posters feature an integrated computer running Android OS. The built in media player software allows the screen to display a wide variety of media formats including image files, video files as well as commonly supported office document formats.
Installing your content is easy. Simply copy your files onto a formatted USB drive, insert into the screen and wait for your content to copy-over. A progress bar indicates when copying is complete.
Finally unplug the USB drive and the files will play automatically in a looped sequence using a variety of transition effects between each file.
Free Playlist Editor Software
Our free Windows based playlist editor software is provided with the Android Freestanding Digital Poster and allows you to have more precise control over the content you display.
Using the software on a separate PC, you can create customised playlists to control the order that files are played, the type of transition effects that are used and also the delay time between files.
Playlist files can be saved to a USB drive and copied to the screen as normal. You can create multiple playlist files and specify particular days and times that they play. This is useful for example should you wish to run different promotions or offers at different times.
Update Content Remotely & Wirelessly
Using our cloud based content management service (CMS) you can control the Android Freestanding Digital Posters settings and upload new content without physically accessing it. This is a great feature if you wish to update content frequently or have multiple screens in different locations whereby manually updating content via USB is not practical.
The screen can be connected to your local network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet and controlled by logging into mysignageportal.com. We offer a choice of 1 Year, 3 Year or Lifetime subscriptions with a small one-off activation charge to configure your screen.
Designed For Public Spaces
Android freestanding digital posters have been specifically designed for commercial use in public spaces. The face of the display is made from tempered glass that is highly resistant to accidental damage and breakage. The sides of the digital poster feature a super-slim profile made from brushed aluminium. Corners have been thoughtfully designed with a soft, curved shape whilst the support base is wide and weighted for stability.
The panel used on the display is a commercial grade LCD panel with an LED backlight. It is designed for 24/7 use and has a rated lifespan of over 70,000 hours.
To prevent tampering of the device while it is in situ, there are no accessible buttons or controls that can be adjusted nor are there any decals, logo's or branding that would detract from the appearance of the display.
IPS Panel
The IPS panel used on the android freestanding digital poster is rated at 450cd/m² brightness which is up to two times the brightness of a conventional domestic TV.
Commercial IPS panels accurately display an image’s quality and colour depth at a 178° ultra wide viewing angle. There is no fall-off in colour accuracy and no diversion in contrast ratio at wide angles. From bright sunlight to the most challenging lighting environments these displays are designed to reproduce and maintain the ultimate colour temperature for lifelike images. The panel is also optimised for portrait orientation.
Eco Friendly Power Timer
Using the built-in power timer function on the freestanding digital poster you can specify on and off times for the display automatically.
The power timer function allows you to control daily or weekly on/off times so you can ensure that the display is active only on when it is needs to be.
The ability to control on/off times minimises energy costs and also maximises the life of the product.
Choice Of Colour
We now offer the Android Freestanding Digital Poster in a choice of piano black or glacier white colours. Both colour options are available for dispatch normally within 1 or 2 working days.

Built In Secure Locker
Should you need to run the screen from an external source, like a PC or media player, you can do so by using the HDMI input or the VGA and 5mm audio jack inputs. There is also a space to fit a small PC or media player inside the lockable compartment.
Integrated Castors
Freestanding digital posters have concealed castors on the base, this makes moving the product on smooth floors as simple and convenient as possible.
When the unit is in position, there are wind down support feet that prevent the display from being moved.
